Job Description

We are looking for skilled Trim Carpenters to join our team. As a Trim Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing trim and molding in residential and commercial buildings. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards, enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of the spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install trim, moldings, baseboards, window casings, door casings, and other finish carpentry elements.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately according to specifications.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including contractors and designers, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Inspect and repair existing trim and moldings, ensuring a clean and seamless finish.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure that all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and design specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all materials are properly stored and equipment is well-maintained.
• Provide guidance to apprentices or junior carpenters when needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Trim Carpenter or similar role in carpentry.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools such as saws, sanders, and nail guns.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custom or high-end trim work.
• Certification or apprenticeship in carpentry or a related field.
• Familiarity with various wood species, finishes, and installation techniques.
