Job Description

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Installers to join our team. As a Cabinet Installer, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing custom and prefabricated cabinets in residential and commercial settings. You will work closely with project managers, carpenters, and clients to ensure that cabinets are installed according to the required specifications, design plans, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install cabinets, vanities, and other woodwork based on project designs and client specifications.
  • Accurately measure spaces and adjust cabinets to fit seamlessly within designated areas.
  • Assemble and mount custom and prefabricated cabinets using hand and power tools.
  • Ensure all installations are level, secure, and properly aligned.
  • Collaborate with other team members, such as carpenters and contractors, to complete projects on time.
  • Address and resolve any installation challenges or client concerns on-site.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Repair or replace any damaged or improperly installed cabinetry as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer instructions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality workmanship on all projects.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Installer, carpenter, or in a related millwork position.
  • Strong knowledge of cabinet installation techniques and tools.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy cabinets and work in various environments.
  • Knowledge of different types of wood, finishes, and hardware used in cabinetry.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with custom cabinetry and high-end projects.
  • Certification in carpentry or related trade is a plus.
