Job Description

We are looking for experienced Finish Carpenters to join our team. The Finish Carpenter will be responsible for crafting and installing a wide range of interior wooden fixtures, trim, and detailed woodworking. You will ensure that every project is completed with precision, delivering high-quality finishes in both residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and install trim, moldings, doors, cabinets, and other wooden fixtures.
  • Perform detailed woodworking, including the construction and installation of custom furniture, cabinetry, and intricate woodwork.
  • Read blueprints, sketches, and construction documents to properly plan work.
  • Sand, stain, paint, or apply other finishes to surfaces to meet design specifications.
  • Repair or refurbish existing wood structures and elements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Ensure all woodworking is completed to the highest standard of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues or discrepancies on-site.
  • Follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in all measurements and cuts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or in a similar carpentry role.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, maintaining focus on high-quality work.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with high-end custom woodwork and finishes.
  • Certification in carpentry or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with both residential and commercial carpentry projects.
