Millwork Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking Millwork Assemblers to join our team. As a Millwork Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling wood components and millwork products in a workshop environment. You will ensure all products are built to specifications and meet quality standards before installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble wood components, cabinets, and other millwork products according to blueprints and design specifications.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure precision in measurements, cuts, and joints to achieve high-quality assembly.
- Inspect completed products for quality and durability.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Report any defects or issues in materials or workmanship to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Millwork Assembler or similar role in woodworking.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for wood assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and teamwork mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in high-end or custom millwork projects.
- Knowledge of wood types and finishes.
- Certification in carpentry or woodworking is a plus.
