Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Millwork Project Manager to oversee custom millwork projects from inception to completion. The Millwork Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and production teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of millwork projects, from initial planning to final installation.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and designers to define project scope, timelines, and objectives.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases.
- Oversee material procurement, budgeting, and resource allocation to keep projects on track.
- Coordinate with production teams, installers, and subcontractors to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Communicate project updates regularly to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ensure all safety and regulatory standards are met throughout the project.
- Handle change orders, resolve conflicts, and manage project risks to avoid delays and budget overruns.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Millwork Project Manager or in a similar project management role in the construction or millwork industry.
- Strong knowledge of millwork fabrication, installation processes, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing high-end custom millwork projects.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
